# How do I delete a device?

You can delete a device in cThings Cloud via the device page. You must first Factory Reset the device to delete all data.

|| To factory reset and delete a device, you must have the Device Administrator role with the necessary permissions.

## Factory Reset the Device

1. Navigate to the device page
2. From the **Device **menu (top-right corner) click **Factory Reset**
3. Enter the device serial and click **Factory Reset Device**

## Delete the Device

1. From the **Device** menu click **Delete**
2. Enter the device serial and click **Delete Device**
