How to set the default configuration for the SDM320


Unlocking the device


To send downlinks that reconfigure your SDM320 to the default settings, the device must first be unlocked. This is done by setting the KPPA (Key Parameter Programming Authorisation). To perform these steps, you can send the following downlink.


01 10 00 0E 00 02 04 44 7A 00 00 47 0A


Receiving the following uplink indicates that the device is unlocked.


01 10 00 0E 00 02 20 0B


Setting the default configuration for the device


Once the device is unlocked, the following downlinks can be sent to reset the device to its default configuration.


Make sure to wait for a response uplink after sending each downlink
